Something New Is Brewin' At CRAFTED

It was the week that the entire country shut down due to Covid-19, that the owners of CRAFTED Commons finalized the purchase of their location at 1101 Airport Road in Bloomington between VisionPoint Eye Center and Ancho and Agave. Thankfully INB and Catalyst Construction were committed to seeing the CRAFTED vision through until the end and weathered the storm because this venue has quickly become an eastside hot spot and has something for the entire community to enjoy.

Since November 2020, the owners have been committed to bringing the community together. It is not uncommon to see business meetings in full swing, study dates or great conversation among friends at the coffee shop; a competitive game of sand volleyball, bocce ball or bags taking place on the large patio and outdoor recreation; kids playing happily, and people enjoying various nightlife activities such as live music, cards, paint nights and trivia.

Now the team has welcomed a new restaurant to CRAFTED Commons. The Eatery at CRAFTED is now open serving "egg-ceptional" breakfast items, including avocado toast, the original or deluxe brunchwich, smashburger with egg, chicken bacon ranch, and pimento pork and grits, among other favorites! Led by General Manager/Executive Chef Nick Birky, they have created a medley of flavor combinations that are ‘Just Beyond Normal’- truly the ultimate foodie experience.

“The Eatery at CRAFTED is the perfect complement to what we've created at CRAFTED Coffee Brews and the CRAFTED Bar, as guests have the ability to pair our unique and delicious food creations with their favorite drinks and entertainment experiences,” Dunn tell us.

With The Eatery at CRAFTED now being open daily, it truly adds to the experience during leagues and events. Stop in to enjoy the flavor combinations from The Eatery at CRAFTED or grab a cocktail or craft beer from the casual, yet upscale bar. Mimosas, Bloody Marys with house stuffed olives (the skewers are beautiful and delicious!), specialty cocktails and rotating CRAFTED punch cocktails have quickly become favorites regardless of the time of day. No proof drinks are also on the bar menu.

Witnessing the guests thoroughly enjoying the CRAFTED experience is the ownership’s biggest reward. “We've invested a lot of ourselves into crafting our vision and it's the ultimate compliment to hear Blo-No share their love for the delicious food, cocktails, volleyball and euchre leagues, our large patio, live music scene, and private event venue.”

The interest in private events has been so rewarding. “We get the opportunity to establish relationships working one-on-one with the event hosts to craft a memorable event -- birthday and retirement parties, graduation celebrations, showers, rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions, and corporate gatherings.  We take the stress out of the planning, so you can enjoy the day and special occasion. The party guests are really enjoying all the activities at the venue and the catering provided by The Eatery at CRAFTED for these private parties.”

The CRAFTED team has learned and accomplished a lot over the last two and a half years and will continue to evolve to deliver quality food and beverage dining experiences. “We're known for our friendly team of baristas at CRAFTED Coffee Brews and specialty cocktails. CRAFTED is becoming a favorite venue to enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday night from 7 to 10pm. We were also recognized as a favorite trivia venue by the Reader's Choice Awards for 2022. Our Tuesday Trivia Nights and Music Bingo Thursdays continue to grow in popularity as well. Join us every week from 7 to 9pm for those experiences.”
